Feb 23rd, '23: Half BlueBird


Full day of skiing, and I’m feeling in the groove: less sore, more efficient, and having a better and better time. As always, it comes together as I leave. Still, as always, the process feels right.

Today was my last day of skiing, for this trip. Tomorrow is work and at-home/hotel conditioning: ab circuit it is.

Feb 21st, '23: Work day in JH


Today I worked hard, stretched lightly, and ate well.

Fitness

I am sore AF today from the snowboarding yesterday. I stretched alongside a “bird of paradise” prep yoga prep. I’m like 45° away fom pulling the move off, but it’s an incredible inner thigh stretch.

Inner thigh muscles include gracilis and adductor magnus / brevis / longus.

Alarm is set at 6:45a to try and bet at the mountain by 8:30a

Feb 20th, '23: 2nd day in JH


Snowboarding is, like, way more difficult than I remember. Today we got about 5 real runs in, and I could barely drag myself into the chair to traverse out. In sum, excusing myself from working out further.

It does seem to especially target legs, I’ll give myself four days before lifting legs after Thurs. I’ll need to temper the boarding with yoga – I can feel day one deep in my tendons and lower back. On the positive side, left shoulder feels great.

Feb 18th, '23: Packing for JH


Exercise exercise

For weightlifting I’ll get to Chest & Tri’s today. Maybe mix in an extra exercise? The four different exercises seems a bit on the anemic side.

returning after exercising ouch ok four is enough when it comes to my shoulders. My left front deltoid still feels tight / tender and I don’t want to tweak it on week two.

As for cardio: CO said she might Hogwarts it, in which case I’ll solidarity bike it – let my imagination transform my trainer to a broom :bike:
