A Very Covid Thanksgiving

Got up to Tahoe last night, and CEO tested positive for covid this afternoon, so we’re likely driving back tomorrow. Fortunately we caught the bug before causing a riot by spreading it at the friends and family dinner.

Can’t hang out with the fam tonight, but we’re all watching Oppenheimer; Mom had given me a biography on Oppenheimer years ago so my brain was busy doing lil cross-correlations. That era of physicists was bafflingly brilliant, but strange; broken? Schrodinger’s pedophilia, Oppenheimer’s political / affairs and raging ranch-aholism.

Kinesthesia

In the morning (pre-covid-scare) went for a 4mi run with Dani averaging like 11min miles. Chest felt a little tight, but legs were great. Run flew by; Christmas Valley is gorgeous and vivid for its scars.

Tomorrow I’ll get a ride or run in before we head out (as always, jonesing for the big meadow -> christmas valley loop). Also, for dads birthday thinking to rent him an electric mtb. Covid & outdoor is the way to go.
