F1 Barcelona Sunday

SUPERMAX! More surprising than Max taking the top of the podium was Lewis and Russel giving Merc the second and third places. They had shipped some upgrades in Monaco, but Barcelona is a classic circuit that seemed to showcase their potential. Second place drama as Aston Martin is now twenty points off Merc in the constructors and Lewis is chasing third. Also, dropping the chicane into the final straight was fantastic – T1 was a helluva dueling ground.

I took a peek at ticket prices for the Mexico City Grand Prix – nearly $1K for a grandstand seat, and I didn’t see any general access. Don’t get me started on Vegas.

Played ball out at Bakar with RN. We only had enough for 2’s, and we got kicked off the court after about an hr. But! The people who kicked us off were playing full-court 5’s via Squadz. Basically, a bunch of people put in like $10, rents out a gym, and runs pickup. RN and I are in.

Met PG, RN’s SO. (Can you tell I write this for myself?) Annnd they’re in for Portola! Ganggang. Will blow the conch to see if anyone else is interested in coming out.
